I note somebody has put a note on top of the Gallery saying Wikipedia "discourages" galleries. It took me hours to upload all of those photos and work out how to put a gallery in (the instructions which I got were from Wikipedia), almost as long as it took me to research the history of the place, but more importantly Wikipedia's policy says:
==> All of these photos allow people to learn much more about the topic and given that it's about a luxury hotel these aesthetic things are very relevant. As there are so few photos on the Lough Rynn website of the gardens themselves, people will be particularly interested in seeing the place.
==> I think I have done this.
==> With perhaps the exception of one photo (of the red bridge) all of these photos show different parts of the estate. For me, the gallery will add hugely to people's knowledge of the subject matter. For the above reasons I believe it should be maintained. Dáibhí Ó Bruadair ( talk) 14:49, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
Related issue: Until a few more editors have a chance to weigh in so as to form a consensus on the issue above, I would like to format the photo gallery section with the {{ Gallery}} template, but File:Lough Rynn Walled Garden2.JPG and File:Lough Rynn shoreline.JPG did not render properly in the preview so I didn't save the changes. If anyone could help troubleshoot this problem, that'd be great. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Scisdahl ( talk • contribs) 19:27, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
