From the article: "Reiniger and Koch decided to emigrate (both were involved in left-wing politics)." Hmmm. "Left-wing"? How so? Was Reiniger a Communist? A Marxist? A socialist? Please tell, someone. 108.7.39.114 ( talk) 12:10, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
Reiniger's death is flagged as citation needed. Is http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1468-0483.2010.01515.x/abstract sufficient? — Salton Finneger ( talk) 20:07, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
Hi,
I've got a citation for the location and year, but not the exact day. Is that ok?
Citation is: Lotte., Reiniger, (1975, ©1970). Shadow puppets, shadow theatres, and shadow films. Boston: Plays, Inc. ISBN 0823801985.

why is it relevant to mention she made a movie which precedes Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs? Those movie have nothing to with each other. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Justesting 1 ( talk • contribs) 00:27, 26 December 2017 (UTC)

Why is Lotte Reiniger not listed as the inventor of the multiplane camera, which she first used for her 1926 animated film “The Adventures of Prince Achmed”, but is only credited with inventing a predecessor to the first multiplane camera? Her multiplane camera was the first. From /info/en/?search=Lotte_Reiniger?wprov=sfti1 “Reiniger is also noted for having devised a predecessor to the first multiplane camera”. MaynTex ( talk) 15:21, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
This is even mentioned in the article for the film itself, but The Adventures of Prince Achmed was preceded by El Apóstol. I'm new to Wikipedia (created an account to say this) so I'm not sure if I should just go in and make the change (adding the word "surviving" would do it, right?) or not.
