There is mention of ".....second City Marshal, Jack Whaling, was shot in 1853." But I don't find any reference to Whaling being the "Los Angeles City Marshal". And "2nd Marshal" and "1853" would conflict. There definately are references to Jack Whaling being killed by Senati in 1853. Was he "marshal" of something else ?
