"Catalan" Names

The names on the Catalan Wikipedia ("Pero", "Ferrando", "Alvar", "Joan") are the Aragonese names using the SLA norm, as their Wikipedia has a tendency to use local names for persons/places/things outside the Catalan Countries. Traditionally these forenames are Pere, Ferran, Àlvar, Joan in Catalan.

The -ez patronymics sometimes have their own Catalan version, ending in -is (or, rarely, -es). From Spanish to Catalan these are:
