You haven't said why you think the coordinates in the article are erroneous or what you think the coordinates should be. The coordinates in the article match those given on the GNIS database page for the island (and the OpenStreetMap for the landform at that location labels it "Long Island"), so unless a better source can be found, I see no reason to change the coordinates.
