It's nice to have happened to stumbled accross this article. I used to own a couple of books from the series and remember them fondly. I didn't know they were so popular though. Anyways, it seems to me that this article is really lacking in explaining why the Lone Wolf series is different from normal choose-your-own-adventure books. The battle system and such could use some explaining. Specifically though, I find it strange that the whole random number system was left out. Closing your eyes and pointing randomly to a number on a page always seemed pretty novel to me. Maybe this was just the American version though, I dunno. In any case, the mixture of smart decision making with pure chance is what seemed to seperate Lone Wolf from the rest. Most adventure books just have you make choices, which makes the replay value pretty much zero. Also, I'd like to see the Gray Star side series explained better. I remember that there was something that made it work differently from the normal series but I can't remember what. That might need to go in its own article though. Finally, be sure to double check and make sure all book titles are in italics, I know I skipped over quite a few. -- SeizureDog 16:32, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Someone wrote that "However, the books are not well known outside of Britain." I wish to point out that this is UNTRUE. I am not from Britain, but from Singapore, and I can assure you that the books were popular [for a period of time]. -- mh 11:36, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Who have been trying to "update" the article lately, I have not reverted the edits because they are wrong or poorly written, but because you are adding text with no references as to where the information or views came from, which is crucial to maintaining this as a "Good" article. Please add some website links either here or in the text so at least then I can format it so the article stays referenced. Thanks! Judgesurreal777 21:13, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
REPSONSE: Okay, thanks for the notice! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I'm trying to get some of the other fans to take care of this with some exact links, but all the new information in both the reception and fan base sections can be found at these two websites:

First and totally foremost, thank GOD we are getting a reprint of the books, and not only do we get the out of printers, but the final four books of the series!
SECOND, I have set up a very rapidly growing LONE WOLF WIKI!!! [1]. Fan detail, here we come! Tell one and all who love and loved Lone wolf to come and help put together an encyclopedia fan would love!! Judgesurreal777 10:03, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Where have all the supplemental articles gone? There were ones on the races, history and geography of Magnamund and now they're not linked to anywhere. Burns flipper 12:13, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
The later (post-2000) tebletop game is mentioned but there is no information about the range of Lone Wolf miniatures produced by Citadel (Games Workshop) in the 1980s. Do we need to hae info on these too? Redorc01 ( talk) 22:02, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
