WikiProject Biography Assessment
Needs references, but basically a B.
The article may be improved by following the WikiProject Biography 11 easy steps to producing at least a B article. -- Yamara 17:34, 19 June 2007 (UTC) Regarding audiobooks. Blackstone Audio, NOT Books on Tape, is the current copyright holder for Lois Mcmaster Bujold's books including: Shards of Honor (projected relase summer of 2009), Warrior's Apprentice, The Vor Gane, Cetaganda, Mirror Dance, Ethan of Athos (release spring 2009), Brothers in Arms, Memory, Komarr, A Civil Campaign, Winterfair Gifts, and Diplomatic Immunity. Shards of Honor, Barrayar and Borders of Infinity was produced earlier by The Reader's Chair but is no longer in business. Shards of Honor may be re-produced by Blackstone to follow their release of Shards of Honor but I haven't confirmed this. Also available from Blackstone Audio: The Curse of Chalion, Paladin of Souls and The Hallowed Hunt of the Chalion Series and The Sharing Knife Series; Books One through Three (Beguilement, Legacy and Passage). Book Four-Horizon-may be in the works as well but I haven't confirmed this info either. All of LMJ's audiobooks currently released by Blackstone are available in library, MP3, Retail, playaway and tape/cassette versions as well as on Audible.com. Freefall and Reader's Chair's Borders of Infiniry are not. I'm new at this and I hope I placed the data in the corredt area. Bladeofice Bladeofice ( talk) 20:59, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Are you sure about Shards of Honor being set five years before Miles' birth? It ends with Cordelia and Aral getting married, and she became pregnant almost immediately afterwards (she tells Drou this in Barrayar when asked how she first knew she was pregnant). Unless the action in Shards of Honor lasts for a very long time, I think one year before Miles' birth would be closer.

I thought 'The Reader's Chair' went kaput a while back - can anyone confirm? (Re: audiobooks) -Martha 72.81.40.136 17:48, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
The Fivefold Pathway of the Soul is now up as a place for notes and speculations on the religion LMB created for the Curse of Chalion/Paladin of Souls universe.
There is a new picture available here, annotated thusly: Taken in August 2005, this one can be given away freely. I note that there was originally some small question over the licensing status of the current picture (to be found further down the same page) which was eventually solved. Even so it would be nice to keep up with the times: the current picture is almost a decade old. — Phil | Talk 11:08, September 6, 2005 (UTC)

Shouldn't "Miles in Love" come before "Miles, Mutants and Microbes" in the list of the Omnibus editions, since Diplomatic Immunity (included in the latter) takes place after the stories in the former collection? Saffran ( talk) 14:33, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on
Lois McMaster Bujold. Please take a moment to review
my edit. If necessary, add {{

after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{

The link does not credit Robert Charles McMaster as an editor in any book in the series, or the series as a whole. I would suggest moving this information Robert_Charles_McMaster (which does not have a bibliography) instead, since it seems out of place here, and continuing discussion there. - 157.131.250.246 ( talk) 02:38, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
Olivaw-Daneel, the table approach for the Hugo/Locus/Nebula awards is interesting, but when you converted the lists to the table, you left out the years for wins and nominations. Please incorporate that info as well. Schazjmd (talk) 23:20, 3 August 2021 (UTC)
