Regarding this edit, the accident involving a ferry occured on June 20. 1941, killing both the student pilot and instructor on a Northrop N-3PB during take-off. This was the fourth double fatallity at FTL (Flyvåpnenes Treningsleir=Joint Airforces Training Camp, aka “Little Norway”), although not all occuring in Toronto (at least one double fatallity accident at Patricia Bay). The ferry accident contributed heavily in the decision to move FTL from Toronto to Muskoka. I've done some work on the accident section on the Norwegian article (with help from the Conradi-Hansen book and one by another WWII norskie pilot about the Norw. Army and Navy Air Forces, those two combined mentions most of the accidents, plus some magazine articles detailing the destiny of Norw. air force Cornells, Curtiss and Northrops, but can't find one about the Douglas), and was thinking about this article as well, but I was beaten to it by Bzuk :). Just an observation about the current diff:
I would have loved to read that Muskoka Sun 2005 reference. Paaln ( talk) 20:47, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
