Book awards redirects here.
Does this article purposefully distinguish awards to authors from awards to illustrators ( Caldecott Medal), translators (U.S. National Book Award, Translation, discontinued), publishers ( Mildred L. Batchelder Award), producer(?) of an audiobook ( Odyssey Award)?
Should that distinction be maintained in articles about specific awards? in some categories or lists of "literary awards"?
P.S.
A glance shows that
Category:American literary awards is relatively open,
List of literary awards#American literature relatively closed. The former includes the three relevant articles linked above, the latter excludes them. --
