There is considerable overlap between this article and the pages linked to in List of advertising characters. I suggest this article merge into those. -- Barrylb 08:30, 27 March 2006 (UTC) reply

It would make sense to merge the section on Commercial mascots with the List of Advertising characters, but not the other sections such as sports mascots and political mascots, which are usefully given here. Ming the Merciless 16:34, 3 November 2006 (UTC) reply
