Where are Ann Martin and Francine Pascal? They are the greatest authors of my time, it seems a shame that I didn't see them on this list. 24.215.63.110 06:11, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
How is Their Eyes Were Watching God YA fiction? Or should we also be listing, for example, Mark Twain, far more a YA writer than Hurston? - Jmabel | Talk 04:03, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
I don't have a strong sense of who reads what at what age in other languages. For example, I'm almost certain that there are a lot of equivalents of YA literature in Japanese (because there certainly is in Japanese film), but I have no idea of authors' names.
Could someone come up with some representative YA authors to list for various languages? - Jmabel | Talk 06:13, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
There are a lot of YA authors on the List of children's literature authors that are not here. Seems an area for some cleanup, making the two lists consistent. (Or maybe even moving all the YA authors here, and keeping the younger authors there? I don't know. Right now the two pages seem kind of messy, though.) 69.9.30.221 05:06, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
Yes, she's written a YA novel, but does she belong here? Do we count celebrities who use their fame in other areas to get a book published? I vote no. Bkatcher ( talk) 13:55, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
