Hi everyone,
The following edits have been carried out:
Replace 'Unsourced' template with 'Refimprove' template.
timeframe inline templates added in sections where a date describing the currency of the content is required.
New section 'Requirements for recognition of records' has been added to explain which techniques & distance were eligible for recognition of record swimming times.
'Off-topic' template added to 'External links' in respect to the links for 'World Rankings' as these have no relationship to World Records, i.e. ranking of fastest swimmers but not necessarily world record holders. It is suggested that a new article be prepared to discuss finswimming world rankings.
change section title from 'Short course metres' to 'Short course records (metres)',add link to
short course and change technique names to acronyms used in the International Rules
change section title from 'Long course metres' to 'CMAS recognised records',
'CMAS recognised records' - remove all 4 'Legend' & add to the head of section: 'In the following sub-sections, records that are ‘not yet ratified’ are shown as "x" while records that are equal in time to a world record are shown as "=".' Regards

Other relays
What about records in 4x50m SF, 4x100m BF and 4x200m BF relays?? They are kept by (some) national federations.

The current version of the international rules (in force as from January 1st, 2017) only list the following events - 4x50m SF mixed and 4x100m BF mixed (please refer page 8 at
http://www.cmas.org/document?sessionId=&fileId=4251&language=1). The international rules do not include 4x200m BF relays? The following webpage from the CMAS website indicates that world records have been collected for the 4x100m and 4x200m presumably done with SF - please refer
http://www.cmas.org/finswimming/finswimming-records#records-142788. Regards
