The UK entry is incorrect. Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey are not parts of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. They are Crown Dependencies. 82.163.24.100 ( talk) 20:41, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
For some reason, Time Zone for Lord Howe Island (UTC +10.30) has been omitted. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_Howe_Island Perhaps someone will fix this. Abunderment ( talk) 10:19, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Someone posted Legal Time 2010 (as of 15 April) at List of country calling codes; while the list is from the ITU, it is just a list of time zones for various countries/regions and has nothing to contribute to that list. But it may be useful as a source here. Anomie ⚔ 03:44, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Should the title of this list be List of countries by number of time zones, or perhaps List of sovereign states by number of time zones, instead? And what are the criteria to decide on whether we should compile the information according to country or sovereign state? 112.118.149.119 ( talk) 12:01, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
I see war of revisions about Kiev time, Minsk time, Kaliningrad time, Transnistria time and Magadan time: Ukrainian, Belorussian and Russian IP from one side and Turkish IP from other side.
Maybe Turkishs know better than Ukrainians, Belorussians and Russians about it?
Somebody, please, stop permanent Turkish vandalism. 77.236.35.44 ( talk) 13:55, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
The residents in Xinjiang mainly uses UTC+06:00, but it is used to its residents and unofficially to Beijing Time. ApprenticeFan work 08:01, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
The timezones look like e.g. UTC-06:00 but for some reason the minus sign is not a regular ASCII - but some multibyte character. This is silly and uncalled for, and makes it hard to search down the list. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.226.190.154 ( talk) 19:20, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
Suggestion: could you please, who know North American geography better, substitute american terms as 'pacific states' and similar to state names proper? Or so that both names are visible, like Pacific coast (state, state, state); Gulf coast (state, state, state) etc. It may be news to you, but english Wikipedia is for all world, and used by, not only americans... ;) And, worst of all, link 'Atlantic coast' directs to Atlantic ocean, so it's pretty hard to find which states belong under 'states on Atlantic coast'. And where belongs Wisconsin, e.g.? If I need quickly to find out in which time zone it belongs, I could not.
(Yes, I did find it in article Wisconsin, thank you. But actually I needed to see general picture: which, if any, states belong to time zone -4 UTC; this information being useful in identifying cleverer (and so more dangerous) kind of spam, scam and phishing. If e-mail is purportedly from Tennessee, but from Puerto Rico time zone, it raises suspicion.) BirgittaMTh ( talk) 09:07, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
I thought that UTC+07:00 is already been defined as Indochina Time(ICT). However, I don't see that page being linked to on those countries that are using UTC+7. Do you think it's okay to replace those (THA) or (Indochina Time) with a proper link to Indochina Time)? Sikachu ( talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:45, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
The header of the article currently mentions 13 timezones for France, however only 12 are listed below ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.233.129.131 ( talk) 01:24, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
