The idea of this article is easy to understand, but I can't quite find the right way to phrase the title. Any help appreciated SP-KP 17:31, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

I removed this because it is a political party and not a political office. if there is enough interest for political party members then maybe we could do a new section, but right now it seems a bit out of place and dilutes the significance of the page you have made. (This does not belong in the article but is a useful resource for developing it) These countries do not have a female holder of political office listed above. Most of these countries have had women represented in at least one level of government.
MOved from article Rich Farmbrough, 10:01 15 July 2008 (GMT).
So all the millions of princesses, empresses, rulers, concubines (sometimes more powerful than the king), trade empire owners, that have existed for (recorded) about 6,000 years all over the world just don't count?
How about the generals who after dying were discovered to be females in "drag".
How about "the veiled sultan", high priestesses (sometimes of sects that absolutely forbid male participation), and assorted other offices all over the world that could ONLY be held by a female?
We sure this article is a keeper? I would put it up for AFD based on simple common sense. Aaaronsmith ( talk) 19:21, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
