Lennon recorded an entire album of cover songs and McCartney recorded two cover albums. Most of these songs are missing from the article. A Quest For Knowledge ( talk) 22:11, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

I don't think this article should include songs covered by the respective solo artists. It should only list songs covered by the band as a whole. I imagine it makes more sense to list solo covers in subsections of List of songs recorded by John Lennon, List of songs recorded by Paul McCartney, List of songs recorded by George Harrison, and List of songs recorded by Ringo Starr. — Gordon P. From Argentina: Is more important, the compositors that the interpreters. Example: The "Chains" compositors was Goffin and Carole King.
