I find it interesting to compare quarterbacks with multiple Super Bowl wins by their career seasons. Here's an old format that was used on a now defunct page ( List of quarterbacks with multiple Super Bowl wins):
___________ ______________ _________________ QUARTERBACK WINS BY SEASON SUPER BOWL NUMBER ___________ ______________ _________________
4 wins:
Terry Bradshaw |====WW==WW====) IX,X,XIII,XIV Joe Montana |==W==W===WW=====) XVI,XIX,XXIII,XXIV
3 or more wins:
Terry Bradshaw |====WW==WW====) IX,X,XIII,XIV Joe Montana |==W==W===WW=====) XVI,XIX,XXIII,XXIV Troy Aikman |===WW=W=====) XXVII,XXVIII,XXX Tom Brady |=W=WW====? XXXVI,XXXVIII,XXXIX
2 or more wins:
Bart Starr |=====##==#WW====) I,II Bob Griese |=====WW=======) VII,VIII Terry Bradshaw |====WW==WW====) IX,X,XIII,XIV Roger Staubach |==W=====W==) VI,XII Jim Plunkett |=======o=W==W===) XV,XVIII Joe Montana |==W==W===WW=====) XVI,XIX,XXIII,XXIV Troy Aikman |===WW=W=====) XXVII,XXVIII,XXX John Elway |==============WW) XXXII,XXXIII Tom Brady |=W=WW====? XXXVI,XXXVIII,XXXIX Ben Roethlisberger |=W==W? XL,XLIII
Including non-starts, here is an incomplete list to add:
Earl Morrall* V,VII,VIII Steve Young XXIV,XXIX
Legend:
W - Won the Super Bowl = - Active NFL season with no Super Bowl win o - Inactive season # - Won NFL Championship prior to merger * - Won Super Bowl on more than one team ? - Future active seasons

Is there an article that lists quarterbacks with single Super Bowl starts? If not, why not move this list to a new name and include them here? john k ( talk) 21:02, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
Why in the world are the quarterbacks in #Winning and losing quarterbacks listed next to their college team and not the one they were playing for when they won the Super Bowl? Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 03:17, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Can someone please add 2000 Super Bowl XXXV Baltimore Ravens won & Trent Dilfer was the QB Bdfree ( talk) 23:50, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
Could someone with editing privileges please make the 2/3rds percentage consistent? 2 of 3, or 4 of 6, should be rounded up to 67 percent... but at least make the 3 entries consistent. So go with 66 or 67, but not both, on all 3.
P.S. Someone changed Brady to 67, which is great, but then some idiot changed him back to 60

List of quarterbacks with multiple Super Bowl starts#Winning and losing quarterbacks. Moreover, per
WP:LISTNAME: The title is not expected to contain a complete description of the list's subject. Many lists are not intended to contain every possible member, but this does not need to be explained in the title itself ... Instead, the detailed criteria for inclusion should be described in the lead, and a reasonably concise title should be chosen for the list.

While I appreciate that having the single year "Season" as a column is useful for sorting, most articles here talking about Super Bowls refer to the Super Bowl number, I, II, III, ... LI, LII, LIII.
I think it would be useful to either a) add a second column with the Super Bowl number or b) change the Seasons column to Super Bowl but add metadata so that the ability to sort on that column is maintained.
Oh, and if Season is kept, it should be in the format, 1966-1967, instead of a single year. Everyone knows the first Super Bowl was in 1967.
Colin Kaepernick has recently had the "not yet eligible for HoF" marker removed from his name. My understanding is that he'd have to be retired for 5 years, which he has never been so far, thus he's technically not eligible for the HoF despite having been out of the league for over 5 years. (That being said, there's not much of a difference, because he's never going to the HoF either way... and I'm not sure what happens if someone just stops playing without filing for retirement. Does that ever happen, or do all players officially retire eventually?) K issL 12:07, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
