Missing Month

Was there an issue for March, 1955? It's the only month in the entire stretch that has no information at all. CFLeon 00:43, 11 January 2006 (UTC) reply

No, there wasn't an issue that month; the magazine was behind schedule so they skipped a month. See the FAQ at Playboy.com. -- Metropolitan90 08:53, 19 February 2006 (UTC) reply

  • Support, but these could just be moved due to the Wikipedia style of using the whole year if not consecutive. Lots of these around, like the lists of paintings by Picasso, and the only problem is to make sure the redirects work as these type of lists would probably have many links. Thanks for taking this project on. Randy Kryn ( talk) 13:06, 17 July 2018 (UTC) reply
  • STRONGLY support per nom - and I agree with Randy Kryn that these should just be uncontroversially speedy moved per WP:DATERANGE. Paintspot Infez ( talk) 16:21, 17 July 2018 (UTC) reply

Unexplained symbol

The symbol † appearing next to some names is undefined. What does it signify. (If it's meant to signify a deceased person, I strongly recommend not using it as it's irrelevant to these listings unless it was a posthumous appearance (which Marilyn Monroe's certainly was not, at least not on the original No. 1). 70.73.90.119 ( talk) 19:41, 25 March 2021 (UTC) reply

If I'm right, there has been around 790 Playmates before 2021. And then there are numerous other girls who have posed, of which I have no idea, how much have there been. 86.115.81.140 ( talk) 19:33, 30 December 2021 (UTC) reply
