List of people from San Francisco, is currently under review as an article for deletion, for reasons which would apply to this article as well. I am conducting an
RfC on the talk page of the above-mentioned list to determine whether the concensus agrees on keeping such lists or not. Any and all comments are more than welcome.

It might be useful to defiine what makes a person from Cleveland, Ohio. The list includes people who technically aren't from the city, such as Shaker Heights native Paul Newman, Springfield/Massillon native Lillian Gish, Columbus native Ben Curtis, Aurora native Anne Heche, and temporary residents like Cy Young. I'm guessing a lot of these names came from travelcleveland.com, but that serves Greater Cleveland, not the city. By broadening out the list to include people from northeast Ohio it is impossible to tell who is actually from the city of Cleveland.

I removed two people from this list because they do not have their own Wikipedia page which is required to establish notability per Wikipedia guideines. The information I removed is:
Dale Milison, Produce Salesman and
Jim Tocco, baseball announcer. Thanks --
