I'm not convinced by having a list headed "worldwide scope" alongside the national lists. Many (most) of the "national" titles are in fact worldwide in scope. Ibis, for example, routinely publishes articles on birds from all over thw world. Yet it is cleaerly a European journal. I think the "worldwide" ones should be distributed to the places where they are published, and this classification explained in a note at the top of the list. Any objections? The respected British avian journal Bird Conservation International has been omitted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Biocon ( talk • contribs) 02:51, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Is this a nice format for the list? It gives more information for each journal and allows readers to change the order etc. Suicidalhamster ( talk) 12:24, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
There is an RfC regarding the standardization of journal lists names. Please comment at Talk:List of journals#RFC. Headbomb { talk / contribs / physics / books} 01:38, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
