Surely this list should be merged with that at List of fells in the Lake District - there can be little reason to maintain two independent pages listing the same features - can there? Geopersona ( talk) 19:54, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Like so many articles relating to British hills, this article has been developed with a 'hill-list' mentality. Whilst 'hill lists' have their place, they are not the only way of approaching hills and can rather strait-jacket our appreciation of them. For myself I'd find a single sortable list of Lake District hills preferable to the current layout which breaks them down into individual tables based on Marilyns which cannot so readily be compared. cheers Geopersona ( talk) 19:12, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
