Tried to expand this and include sourcing. I gather we mostly want to limit this to people whose Buddhism is/was notable, correct?-- T. Anthony 11:34, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
However, for living people, the citation must be to a source in which they self-identify as Buddhist. Simply having a third party report that they have is not sufficient. See WP:BLPCAT for details. Yworo ( talk) 01:31, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
I don't seem to see any order to the listings here. They don't seem either chronological by birth or alphabetic by last name. Presumably they should be ordered by last name, since we don't always have birthdates for subjects. Yworo ( talk) 01:32, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
I've fixed the listing order to alphabetic by family name, but also noticed that this list seems to extensively duplicate List of Buddists and propose that the two lists be merged. Yworo ( talk) 19:50, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Add him here? He's a convert. 122.170.48.248 ( talk) 10:26, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
He was into Buddhism at one time, but I am not sure if he was a convert. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Indigocat ( talk • contribs) 15:10, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
Can we discuss the array of different 'meanings' of the conversion to Buddhism ascribed by the putative converts themselves?? MaynardClark ( talk) 22:28, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
