- It is Mindmanager BY mindjet, I suppose the author of the previous remark doesn't really know what he is talking about. ConceptDraw MINDMAP is another MindMap NOT a concept-map tool. Since this isn't even a free product it "appears" to be intentionally misleading for commercial gain. The MindMapping page points to this page as a distinctly different diagram type. - If you're going to list mapping software, please make a clear distiction between concept mapping and mind mapping software.
Mind mapping: a single central concept gives way to multiple branches. Concept mapping: different concepts linked together.

Sorry but I added Freemind before I saw the note about adding. However I see now that the page under the Free Software catagory contains the Note: some tools above only offer the Mindmap subset of concept mapping facilities described in the main concept map entry. Therefore, in view of this note, it seems silly to leave out one of the most popular mind mapping packages that has 'Free' in it's title under the category of free software. Hope everyone agrees. Freemind is a mindmapping tool - not a conceptmapping tool. Mindmapping is not a "tree restricted" subset of concept mapping, it is a completely different approach with a different background, a different history and different tools. I'd like to suggest adding Buzan's iMindMap to the software list. Does anyone have any objections to this. It's a desktop application that provides organic Mind Mapping methods to create Maps for brainstorming, organising, creative thinking, project management and planning. I am trying to figure out the rationale for removing both the Diagramming_software and Online_diagramming pages and merging them here? The software listed here should be Mindmapping and concept mapping tools, and rightly so. But with the removal of the above mentioned pages, where does one include more general purpose diagramming tools like Creately, Gliffy and Visio?
