Clearly, I'm no graphic designer. While I believe this page should list by creator (which is what users will probably be wanting to look up), I otherwise fervently hope that someone with a better sense of design than I will figure a way to make this list nice 'n' clean. It's just starting, and boy, will it expand! — Tenebrae 07:41, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure creators Marv Wolfman and George Pèrez appear in a back-up story in the above mag in which they meet the Titans. Not sure which issue though... sorry. -- Mikey —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.44.221.179 ( talk • contribs)
There is an issue of Nova where the Marvel Bulletin appears plus there are regularly faces in the crowd in 1970's comics penciled by John Byrne. In addition, there was a gathering in Rutland, Vermont in real life that was depicted several times in comics of the early 70's (both DC and Marvel). By using the JLA, Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-men indexes, starting with the issues mentioned in the article, more appearances can be added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.100.17.193 ( talk • contribs)
I don't have the copies any more, but I know John Ostrander and Del Close appeared several times in the horror anthology they co-wrote, Wasteland, from DC comics in the late '80s.—Preceding unsigned comment added by MattShepherd ( talk • contribs)
Image:WhatIf 11.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Brian Michael Bendis introduced a few issues of the relatively recent What If...? series, in shadow, I think. There's a list on Julius Schwartz's page of other appearances he's made. Alan Moore and JH Williams III met in an issue of Promethea. (And Moore & Kevin O'Neill are on the title page of the League... collection/comic.) There are dozens more Lee/Kirby appearances in various Marvel titles (and I'm sure there's a list online somewhere). Many, many people are featured in the audience on the cover of the Superman Vs. Muhammed Ali treasury comic. I think John Byrne was in Superman: True Brit. (All my comics are in storage, so I can't confirm issue numbers, etc. immediately.)
I added another appearance of Louise Simonson, in New Mutants #21 (November 1984). I took the liberty of moving her appearance in Man-Thing from the J heading to her new entry under S. She married Walter Simonson in 1980 (before the Man-Thing appearance) but kept going by Jones professionally for a little while longer, I think. -- Jim Henry ( talk) 10:23, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
Shouldn't it be noted that Jack Kirby is the One-Above All? Fluffyroll11 ( talk) 00:02, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
