Please discuss merge at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Education in Canada#CEGEP.2Fcollege_organization. -- Usgnus 21:38, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
I checked this list today for completeness against the Quebec government listing at http://www.mels.gouv.qc.ca/ens-sup/ens-coll/etablissements.asp and the names and spelling against each institution's website. I used English names when the institution gave one. Each category still needs to be sorted, alphabetically or by location? Cpastern 21:46, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Is this a list of insitutions that offer AEC and DEC programs, or does it also contain other sorts of colleges? 70.55.84.207 12:16, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
This list shouldn't have to be much expanded because as of the date it was last checked it includes all colleges that have a license to operate in Quebec, both public and private, plus the colleges that operate under the authority of other government organizations. That doesn't mean that they all necessarily have the AEC or DEC programs, because, for one, the College international Marie de France is considered to be in the private subsidized colleges category by the Ministry of Ed, but offers only the French baccalaureate degree, not the DEC or AEC. (see their website: http://www.mariedefrance.qc.ca/siteweb/syst_edu.cfm (in French)) Cpastern 21:13, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
