On a serious note, is whether or not a match has been accorded first class of list A status a practical measure of notability of a cricket ground, team or player outside the 10 full members of the ICC? Quite frankly I think not. Alot of cricket of that is notable based on coverage in the press and significance to th growth of the game in the said nations sporting culture is not accorded either First class or List A status.
