Oppose - Both lists are overlapping of each other, but not enitrely redundant. Obviously, the Jewish cities would not appear in the 'Cities in PA areas', but on the other hand, the PA is a recognized authority governing the Pal. cities so it would not be better (IMO) to redirect the 'List ... PA areas' to 'WB and Gaza' either and remove this distinction. --

Weak Oppose create a new list instead. This list has a proper and useful scope. Further the edit history of this article is restricted to the Palestinian territories (when this was an article), so creating a new article with a new edit history would be better. --

Oppose I'm sympathetic to the more concise title, but as long as
Palestine describes a region rather than the
State of Palestine, I'm uncomfortable with the titles being out of sync. Frankly, I'd rather see the state moved to
Palestine, but until that happens, this move is unwise. --

Move to
List of Palestinian cities. There is no place in the world called "Palestine". There is a country called "Israel" which has Israeli cities and Palestinian cities - and Jerusalem, which is supposed to be shared by everyone. On the other hand, it looks more reasonable to just merge into and redirect this page to
List of cities administered by the Palestinian National Authority - and move that one to "List of Palestinian cities". Do the words "Indian reservation" come to mind, with respect to Palestinians?

Oppose If "Palestine" was referring to the
State of Palestine, then I would support the move, but not in this case where the proposal is for a broader scope that would include Israeli cities or settlements. The List of cities in the Gaza Strip article should be deleted and redirected to List of cities in the Palestinian National Authority areas since the latter already includes all the info of the former. That article, in turn, could be renamed to have a more concise title, but that's a discussion that should be held at

You will just create a mayhem, because some editors will come and say that it should be "List of cities in the Land of Israel" while others insist on "List of cities in Palestine", because Mandatory Palestine had two official names - one indeed "Palestine", but another "Land of Israel". If you want an article with NPOV you might prefer "List of cities in the Southern Levant" (but that would include East Transjordan) or an historic overview of "List of cities in Mandatory Palestine" and link it to
Mandatory Palestine. I would support creating such an article.

Oppose - no logic, because Palestinian territories relates to WB and GZ, while Palestine (region) is covering a much larger area (defined by the borders of previous Mandatory Palestine).
