Hi, it has been announced this week that Detective Conan manga have now sold over 200 million copies worldwide, please update the article. Here's the confirmed source: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-04-18/detective-conan-creator-various-manga-have-200-million-copies-in-print/.114956 94.204.243.0 ( talk) 13:28, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
How literal are we going to take the "Do not combine material from multiple sources" wording at WP:SYNTH? Reborn! adds a Comipress source with several Oricon ones, so that violates SYNTH. But Haikyū!!, Magi, and The Seven Deadly Sins add Oricon's yearly charts together. So each source has the exact same reliable publisher, and each source/year picks up the count exactly where the previous one left off (the very next day). Are any of these three acceptable? Are the sales worldwide, Japan only, or is the list comprised of mixed? DragonZero ( Talk · Contribs) 08:45, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
I believe figure for a number of entries are Japan-only, unless otherwise stated. That's how Japanese media I read usually report this type of numbers. Actually, some source given in the list aren't even adding up all the sell from the series in Japan, and only account for part of it, which some of them like the figure for NANA have only taken sell from 1554 shops across Japan into account, and for the source 歴代発行部数ランキング which have been used to cite multiple items, including Ranma ½, it treat different edition separately and only include the number for "new/refreshed edition" C933103 ( talk) 20:59, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
Case Closed has 150 million sales. This seems to be his sales in Japan. However Pokémon Adventures in Japan only 12000000 sales, which makes the difference between them from the sales actually. Lucas two ( talk) 16:32, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
One Piece's current figures appear to be much higher than what is currently listed. While the page currently sites it as 320 million in circulation, the actual figure appears to be 380 million in circulation. If these sites are correct, someone who is better at editing than me should make those changes.
