The Reference shows only sales in Japan. Kid Icarus was only released on the Disk System (as far as i know) in Japan. I have already moved the game to that Section. It schould be deleted here unless we use the Famicom Disk System sales. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nebelmond ( talk • contribs) 12:48, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

I found this thread where the poster lists all of Nintendo's shipments for their titles over a million. It seems to be correct and the poster seems to fairly accurate with her other posts on other sales topics. The issue is I would use other sources (since a forum post isn't exactly the most credible of sources), but it doesn't seem like all this is proper out there. Should I use this source or should I try looking harder? Astrogamer ( talk) 14:53, 26 April 2015 (UTC)

The CESA Games White Papers only go back to 1997, so where are these NES/Famicom-era numbers coming from? Which issue(s) are being cited? Xscapist ( talk) 20:27, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
