Does anybody know which one of the species in Madagascar, Fort Dauphin 1990, could have bitten me 'like a vampire'? I am not sure he was after my blood, it bit right through a blanket and before I could pull him off he left two little wounds in my throat, about half a centimeter apart. Those wounds didn't cure for weeks. Everywhere it says that real vampire bats are South American, but this one in Madagascar certainly had vampire tendencies. Any comments? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.83.167.122 ( talk) 17:02, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
Unfortunately not, it was in a chalet without windows and definitely it came and went flying. I didn't wait for its return and left for another pensionroom that had windows. Thanks anyway. 84.83.167.122 ( talk) 21:03, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
