I have tidied this up a bit - loads of "famous" bands still missing...
What constitutes "famous"? There seems to be numerous bands on this list who are, at best, only locally known in Liverpool. And some, I suspect, are relative unknowns who've been added for a bit of publicity. I think it's about time to clean this list up and remove many of the more dubious entries. It does make the article look somewhat silly when many of Liverpool's "famous" bands have never been heard of -- this isn't a list of all Liverpool bands, after all. Unless anyone has any better ideas, at some point in the near future I intend (with a lot of help from Google) to start removing obvious candidates, such as those who haven't even merited their own article on a site like Wikipedia. ok then Javakid - seeing how you're the self-styled expert on what "famous" means. What's your criteria? Just gigged around the city, had a deal / album, sold more than blah blag copies, Javakid knows more than 2 people who've heard of you.... come on mate - give us a clue? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Davidhughesdoran ( talk • contribs) 21:14, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
