Have taken note of tags. Perhaps article could be split into two; The Yser and the Ypres Salient. I will try to address the "orphan" issue and the question of a lead article.

The list of Belligerents seems to be missing everyone in the Entente powers and allies except Belgium and France. -- 70.24.248.246 ( talk) 05:51, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

The Western Front- Flanders → Flanders on the Western Front during World War One – The current title is unworkable, so I propose using a descriptive title. 70.24.248.246 ( talk) 05:53, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

That sounds a good idea. I welcome any feedback.

Many thanks for these helpful notes. I think that I will go for the "List of War Memorials and Cemeteries in Flanders". I am not sure how to change the articles title and would be grateful if you could do this for me. I will then make any changes that I think necessary to what is then a listing.
I have already seen what you have done with the images and am quite happy with the outcome. I shall try to keep to this discipline for future listings as I work along the Western Front. I will also try to avoid non-encyclopaedic language. Etc.etc.
Again thank you for your help.

Given that the article is now a listing would it be possible to leave my paragraphs on the Battle of the Yser and the five Battles of Ypres. I feel these explain why memorials were erected but are they overlong for a listing?

I would be quite happy with "List of World War 1 memorials and cemeteries in Flanders".
Weglinde ( talk) 19:46, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
That's splendid. I am most obliged. I shall now continue the series with this main title. I shall now look through the article again and try to improve it further. Your help has been much appreciated. Weglinde ( talk) 09:35, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
Can somebody please add the Welsh Memorial Park, Ypres to this article? Thanks. ViennaUK ( talk) 12:29, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

It seems strange that a memorial found in Wallonia is included on a page titled 'List of World War I memorials and cemeteries in Flanders'.
Ploegstreet is situated in Wallonia, in the Comines-Warneton municipality of the Hainaut province. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.6.176.27 ( talk) 09:04, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
