Failed FLC noms

I have put my comments re: the failed FLC noms and the article's upcoming requirements on the peer review page. KV5Squawk boxFight on! 21:06, 30 July 2008 (UTC) reply

Withdrawal of baseball-reference.com reference proposal

I'm currently trying to decide on which reference should I use, Bluejays.com or baseball-reference.com. Crzycheetah told me to withdraw the baseball-reference reference. I just want to see other opinions. Put Support to support the withdraw or Oppose to oppose. Thanks for your cooperation. -- K. Annoyomous 24 GO LAKERS! 03:42, 31 July 2008 (UTC) reply

  • Support, while the Cox and Williams differences are likely just typos at B-R.com (an indication they are not double checking their numbers), it is odd that B-R.com does not include Warner and Rojas as acting-managers but does include Tenace's 1991 stint (but not his 1994 stint). Including/not-including them makes Hartsfield, Gaston's, and Martinez's numbers different between the two sources. There may be a technical explanation for this, but I'm inclined to go with the Bluejays.com count which counts who was actually at the games managing the players, and discounts those on sick leave. -- maclean 04:05, 31 July 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Support I am sure we can find other sources such as newspapers that can verify the needed info rmation.-- Crzy cheetah 05:18, 31 July 2008 (UTC) reply
