We need an update for the past year because this Clint Eastwood hullabahoo ! 74.59.180.151 ( talk) 18:20, 7 February 2012 (UTC)!~
Can we delete the table regarding most commercials by brand? This would only be useful in the main article about Super Bowl advertising, not this list, as it would be difficult to source anything pre-Internet regarding how often commercials were played. - AngusWOOF ( talk) 02:52, 25 February 2015 (UTC)

I noticed that the Church of Scientology ad was not listed and added it in. I'm not sure how many others were also not listed for the 2018 ad cycle, but here is an easy list of all of the most recent ones for someone who has the time to check: http://www.businessinsider.com/super-bowl-2018-all-the-commercials-2018-2 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dheraj.G ( talk • contribs) 20:06, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
This was added unsourced to the section. I will removed it and have reposted it here until sourced.
I will undo and add a short paragraph, instead of a table, for the first one. StrayBolt ( talk) 19:22, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
As a reminder, I will say this again, the "No Way Norway" ad is an advertisement for General Motors and it SHOULD NOT be labeled as just an ad for two cars. While they do mention those vehicles from Cadillac and GMC, GM's advertising their new Electric Vehicles and it's not just from the two cars, it's from their new and upcoming EVs as a whole. Yes, Will said this "GM's Ultrium Battery." and there are words at the end of the ad that reads "30 new EVs by 2025." So this ad is about all of GM's new electric cars, not just the two that was mentioned. Go on and watch it if you want, and if you think that'll change your minds, then yeah. 20chances ( talk) 18:02, 11 March 2021 (UTC)

We're excluding those 5-second ads that are coming directly from the TV network. For 2022, I also grouped the self-promotional NBC ads to one (the one with TV hosts complaining about Ted Danson). The TV shows and films that had their own ads are still listed separately. AngusW🐶🐶F ( bark • sniff) 00:51, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
We need to check what to do about these ads which either aired before or after or was regional or not sure when:
Outside
Regional ad confirmed
| B2B || Criteo || "The Future Is Wide Open" || A woman is visited by her future selves who tell her what's best for her. [1]
| Workplace software || ClickUp || "Declaration" || The founding fathers use ClickUp to help organize the signing of the Declaration of Independence. [2] [3]
| Software as a service || Monday.com || "Work without limits" || Urges people to do great things. [4] better source needed
| Beverage || Liquid Death Mountain Water || || Kids are featured partying and drinking a can that looks like it would hold beer but actually holds water. [5] [6] Regional [7] |-
Need confirm source: https://www.boston.com/culture/entertainment/2022/02/13/list-of-2022-super-bowl-commercials/
References
Please confirm if any of the ones actually aired (indicate when in the game like 9:58 4th), and are nationwide and not regional. I might have zoned out but I don't recall seeing it on my watch, will need to check DVR. AngusW🐶🐶F ( bark • sniff) 20:41, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
Should we include regional ads and indicate they are such? AngusW🐶🐶F ( bark • sniff) 21:10, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
I'm curious what the criteria for the notability of ads is, as I recall that during the most recent Super Bowl there was a commercial that made it seem like you accidentally changed the channel. The advertiser's name escaped me at the moment, but I'm fairly sure it did gain some media attention. ― Blaze Wolf TalkBlaze Wolf#6545 16:07, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
Confirmed regional:
Possibly regional, please help confirm
Didn't air during the game in my region: Need timestamps for film trailers. They might have aired regional stuff in place where I was:

Stumbled upon this page today and was kind of surprised that it seems to seems to aim to be an exhaustive list of advertisement, most of which are not independently notable, and many of which don't even have sourcing. The "user summarizes an ad they saw" approach is more appropriate for a fandom wiki, so what's the Wikipedia-compliant inclusion criteria for this article? I would suspect that at minimum every entry should be either independently notable or supported by at least one or two sources specifically about that ad. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 13:10, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
