So IJBall brought up an excellent point with his recent edits to Stuck in the Middle and this article here and here. I'm not sure myself, either, but, for example, when updating the episode count on the main article, I went with updating it from 17 episodes to 23 episodes rather than adding +6 shorts in parentheses because I feel it looks neater and less cluttered, but, again, I'm not really sure myself on how to handle these situations. Opinions? ( Geraldo Perez, MPFitz1968, Nyuszika7H) Amaury ( talk | contribs) 03:24, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
I'm wondering if we should mark this down as another "special", rather than as an "episode", as Disney is explicitly advertising this as a "movie"... Pinging Amaury. -- IJBall ( contribs • talk) 03:30, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
It is part 2 of the season premiere and prod. code 202. Zap2it lists this episode when the hour-long premiere is split up into 2 parts for reruns. Rboneseveneight ( talk) 01:37, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
I have put a note under "Stuck in the Waterpark - The Movie" regarding the two episode titles used after Disney Channel started reairing the movie in two parts, which began on February 7. (Also, note my edit summary here.) "Stuck in the Waterpark" is the first part, and "Stuck in the Aqualympics" is the second, according to what I saw in the TV listings, but also backed by Zap2it, both parts which I cite in the note. Now, the question that's likely to be raised later: will this be counted here as one episode, or two? MPFitz1968 ( talk) 10:09, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
I'm looking at Screener's (Zap2it's)
entry for that episode, which shows May 24 for "First aired", but below it says We're sorry, there are no national broadcasts of this TV show in the next two weeks.
Well, with today being May 12, the scheduled air date is now within two weeks (12 days from now), and for there to be no scheduled runs of the episode in that part of the page makes me think that May 24 will not be the air date. Will leave the air date in the article at this time, though the source has conflicting information. (Plus, May 24 is a Wednesday, not the usual day of the week Disney Channel runs new episodes - aside from when they go week-long with a show, but that's not the case here.) Also, The Futon Critic and Disney ABC Press have not updated their sites for that or later episodes.

Went ahead and used strikethru on the date for that episode, per conflict in the reference. Not exactly sure if that's the best way to handle this issue. MPFitz1968 ( talk) 16:18, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
Just a heads up in case IPs or other users start trying to add this. Supposedly Stuck in the Middle has been renewed: [1] (I don't know the link to the original tweet.) If this is the case, hopefully Disney Channel actually announces it, unlike they did with Bunk'd. Pinging Geraldo Perez, IJBall, MPFitz1968, and Nyuszika7H. Amaury ( talk | contribs) 14:26, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
The normal procedure is that, outside of announcements, a season finale date can be added once there's data for the next season; however, the data here comes from a tweet and I think it would be better to wait until there are season three episodes listed on The Futon Critic and Zap2it before adding the season two finale date. Amaury ( talk | contribs) 02:37, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
As I mentioned in Season two finale above, Zap2it has placed "Stuck at Christmas" under season two. But they have now added two more entries scheduled for December 16 (Saturday) [7]: "Stuck in a Christmas Road Trip" and "Stuck in a Christmas Race". The former is shown as "S2, E23", while the latter has an unusual "S2, E302". Hmmm. Also, regarding those two, given the air date above, I have a feeling they will be "Stuck at Christmas" split into two parts, similar to "Stuck in the Waterpark – The Movie" being split into "Stuck in the Waterpark" and "Stuck in the Aqualympics". Guess we'll have to stay tuned. MPFitz1968 ( talk) 15:36, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
I have already previewed "Stuck at Christmas" on Watch Disney (at this pretty late hour LOL), and Rachel is said to be spending the holidays in France with one of her friends and their family. MPFitz1968 ( talk) 10:33, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
Only actors who are main cast members should be listed as absent when they are absent. Absences of actors who are not main cast members and guest stars—recurring or otherwise—should not be noted. Amaury ( talk | contribs) 21:49, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
Once production codes are available, specifically 319, we can resolve this. In addition, the air dates I added yesterday, there were also three additional episodes added, and one of those is 319. As there's no rush, there's no harm in leaving it until we get confirmation, even if we're already pretty sure. It's also worth noting that all of the season three episodes are listed in the table right now. There were 22 ordered, and 21 are listed right now, which is because of the first episode which was merged for presentation. The series finale will be on July 23, that much should be obvious, though as obvious as it is, we'll need confirmation once again. There's also an episode called "Killer App" which is the first not to begin with "Stuck..." I am rather curious on that one. Amaury ( talk | contribs) 13:20, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
As a followup, those two episodes have since been removed from Zap2it. I'm guessing "Killer App" was either a plain mistake or an episode title from another series placed there by mistake. ("Stuck with a Killer App" would have a nice ring to it, though!) Episode 3.19 is one of the titles for the July episodes ("Stuck in Diaz Court," according to the Wikia). Here's the dilemma: Both the Deadline Hollywood reference sourcing the number of S3 episodes and The Futon Critic have 22 production episodes for S3. While it's not tagged as such on Zap2it, "Stuck in Harley's Quinceañera" is the season—and series—finale, and it seems even more evident by the fact that it will air on July 23 at 8:30 PM after Andi Mack plus what it will be about. S3 has had one double-length special: "Stuck at Christmas – The Movie" as production episodes 301 and 302. That means that after the season finale, if 22 episodes were ordered, we should have 21 aired episodes. The problem is that after the season finale, there will only be 20 aired episodes, like season two. Even unreliable Wikia isn't listing any #322 episode, and it would be the type of place to have something like that with all of the trivia they like to list. There's an episode that got started, but didn't get filmed, isn't airing, etc. or there's a typo in the press release. Amaury ( talk | contribs) 08:28, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
Update: Those two episodes are still listed, just at the bottom of Zap2it. Episode 3.19 seems to definitely be "Stuck in Diaz Court" according to the Wikia. (We can't use them as a source, obviously, but they're usually not wrong on information like this.) The bigger one of interest here is "Killer App," though. I wonder if we're going to have a similar case to Bunk'd here, where the intended season two finale "We Didn't Start the Fire" aired in regular prime time at 6:00 PM on April 28, 2017, but, for some reason, "The Great Escape" was held back and randomly aired at 10:30 PM on May 24, 2017. To further complicate things there, airing that when they did caused continuity errors as the "The Great Escape" is #213 and "We Didn't Start the Fire" is #221, where the cabins burned down. The discussion on the matter can be found here: Talk:List of Bunk'd episodes#Potential missing episode here. Amaury ( talk | contribs) 15:00, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
The 22-episode third and final season of Stuck In the Middle will begin airing this summer. The series has produced 59 episodes in total.. Emphasis mine. Adding the production episodes ordered for each season, we have: 17 + 21 + 22 = 60. The problem is obvious. The only way to get 59 is by using the number of aired episodes for S2 rather than the number of production episodes if that's how they're counting, but I doubt that's how they count them, which would then make it 17 + 20 + 22 = 59. But that doesn't make sense, either, with it seeming to be that there's no #322, unless we have a situation like Bunk'd which would give us that 60. If we have a mistake, then the actual count would be 17 + 21 + 21 = 59. Amaury ( talk | contribs) 15:40, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
