In the Wikipedia page ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Variety_Performance), for 1912, Anna Pavlova is listed as performing, but is not listed as one of the artists on this page. Any chance this can get put into the page:
HRH the Princess Margaret, was behide this in aid of the NSPCC.
First one was in 1981 and along with the next 3 were broadcast on ITV, made by LWT with David Bell as the producer.
From 1985 the BBC took over:
It was then moved to the spring
Its unclear why 1994 was the last:
