I agree with merging Madonna Mullen and Romeo Rossi but Iona McIntyre, Liz Buchanan and Amber Murdoch are all main characters in the soap opera and more improvement could be done to improve notability.

Notability is not a quality of an article; it is a quality of a subject and therefore cannot be improved by improving the corresponding article. If you can find secondary sources for these articles, feel free to add them. As far as I can tell, however, neither of these characters have "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" as required by the
general notability guideline and therefore individual character articles are not justified.
