What is the rationale behind stopping the list at 1900? The title itself does not entail this limitation, and there is no similar list for societies that started after 1900. The article gives no explanation; it simply states that the list stops at 1900. The article can be changed and broadened. It started with one source - the Encylcopedia Britannica 1911. That's why it needs to be updated. Brian0324 ( talk) 15:30, 3 March 2009 (UTC) reply
