I believe the article started by Philafrenzy was copy pasted from our article The Asiatic Society. This sort of thing needs attribution. However the situation here is a little more tricky because the page history from where it was copied itself contains copyright violation inserted by B. Mandal. You are correct, I forgot to say where I got it from in the edit summary, which I should have done. As for copyright violations, as far as I know there is no copyright in a simple list of names, so the only thing that we should be concerned about in this list is factual accuracy. Do you doubt the accuracy of the information? Philafrenzy ( talk) 19:34, 5 September 2015 (UTC) reply
No the information here is Okay. Actually you deserve a thank you for taking the initiative to create this article. I merely wanted to note the problem-history (copyright violation and the like) of The Asiatic Society. I will try to link some unlinked/redlinked names on this page soon. I often move long lists out of articles for readability reasons. You have reminded me that this one exists. I will see if there are any I can create. Philafrenzy ( talk) 21:24, 5 September 2015 (UTC) reply
