Just to advoid confusion, the Geological Survey of Canada website sourse and others do not seem to use the term "The Volcano" for the volcanic vent at Lava Fork in northwestern British Columbia. Insted, they call The Volcano either "Lava Fork volcano" or "Lava Fork" on its volcano page. [1] This is quite inaccurate if thought of correctly. By comparing the coordinates from the GSC Lava Fork page and the coordinates from the BC Geographical Names Information System page about The Volcano, [2] both coords aim close to the same feature, indicating The Volcano and Lava Fork volcano are most likely the same thing. According to the BC Geographical Names Information System website, Lava Fork is the official name of a creek. [3] Therefore, anything about the Lava Fork volcano should be linked to The Volcano article and not Lava Fork unless its actually some thing about the creek. The Volcano is an official name for this volcano. [4] BT ( talk) 00:39, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
