Should Scapa Flow in the Orkneys be regarded as a port (or harbour) of the North Sea, and likewise would the scuttling of the German Fleet in 1919 in Gutter Sound be regarded as an event in the North Sea? While Scapa Flow and the Orkneys have the North Sea on one side, and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, shipwrecks in Scapa Flow are regarded as North Sea shipwrecks.
