I added most of the other teams...the non-AAA teams. I'll add the indy leagues later. -- Woohookitty 05:40, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
I would splitting the alphabetical list from the listing by league. It's really too long to print otherwise. -- Paploo 14:31, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
Great list guys, However, many of the affiliations are incorrect in several locations. I have changes some, but not nearly all the mistakes. I suggest a comb through using the MLB.com team pages. Go to Rosters and select minor league affiliates. Logos are there as well. Good luck. TrojanGuardian 04:06, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
the carolina mudcats is a double a team of the reds not high a for the indians and the indians high a team is the kinston indians does play in that league if anyone can fix that — Preceding unsigned comment added by Duke of the mid south ( talk • contribs) 18:33, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
I know we like to include alot of data but Independent Leagues are not affiliated with Minor League Baseball or Major League Baseball and should probably not be included here. There already is a page for Indepent Leagues on Wikipedia.
Also, how about amending the introduction (which says Canada, U.S., Mexico) or else dropping the non-North American leagues (DSL, VSL)? 66.37.94.119 ( talk) 05:49, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
I disagree with this because the article says "minor league baseball", not "Minor League Baseball." To support my opinion, see the articles, "
Minor league baseball" and "
Minor League Baseball.

Does anyone know how to fix the map? I see at least one team that has changed names listed by its old name. The West Tenn Diamond Jax have changed their name to The Jackson Generals. 05:48, 16 December 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.166.175.124 ( talk)
Im gonna add the aforementioned. the info is taken from the league article on this wiki. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Esb5415 ( talk • contribs) 00:07, 14 May 2014 (UTC)
I noticed that there are teams in the Mexican League aren't up to date as is on their wiki page. so im not gonna do theirs. Esb5415 23:48, 14 May 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Esb5415 ( talk • contribs)
The article seems to have a vague scope. It include MLB regardless of country and mlb, but only in the US. All the best:

It's kinda always bothered me that the Mexican League teams in the alphabetical list are listed not by their actual names (which are in Spanish, and have the nickname first), but instead by an English translation. Especially since the league-specific list in the Triple-A section has the Spanish names instead. I thin k I'm going to change it. oknazevad ( talk) 01:19, 12 January 2017 (UTC)
I am considering replacing each league's list of teams with transcluded lists from each league's article as is done in Triple-A (baseball) and Double-A (baseball). I don't see any information in these lists that doesn't also appear in the corresponding league article's list. This change would eliminate much replicated information which must be kept synchronized with each league's article. Any other opinions on this? Now, back to the World Series ... They will debut in 2019 and they already have 4 teams: Dallas Texans, Joplin Miners, Royse City Griffins and Waco BlueCats. 3 more are expected to join later, most likely in Lubbock, Texas; Tyler, Texas; Victoria, Texas (they used to have the Coastal Bend Aviators also in Robstown, Texas) and Woodward, Oklahoma (they attempted to join the Pecos League). I don't believe the Salina Stockade are, they're a traveling team in the Can-Am League for 2019 after they were in two previous leagues. 67.49.89.214 ( talk) 16:14, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
Currently on hiatus, they have 4 teams in Southern California based in their home field in Yuma, Arizona. They cancelled their 2018 season, but I will let you all know what happens next. The teams are the Imperial County Ghost Riders, Somerton Caneros, Yuma Hammers and Maple Leafs. Cancelled teams are the (Southwest) Caballeros represent Imperial Valley, California; (Blythe-Havasu) Heat represent Blythe, California; (Canada) Jays and (Colorado River) Snow Falcons represent Lake Havasu City. 67.49.85.100 ( talk) 18:53, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
