Remove all the Season 24 episodes exept one concerning United Airlines Flight 811 remake. Other episodes are purely made up and unconfirmed. 217.173.194.58 ( talk) 10:39, 25 November 2023 (UTC)

The Season 14 episode "The Death of JFK Jr." is about the 1999 crash that killed John F. Kennedy Jr. The provided link refers to the crash as John F. Kennedy Jr. plane crash. I propose the link is changed to 1999 Martha's Vineyard plane crash, because the article was renamed in June this year. 100.7.34.111 ( talk) 13:44, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
The Philippine Airlines 434 Aircraft should be Boeing 747-283BM Combi not McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30F 222.127.220.123 ( talk) 14:56, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
Since its now been removed twice, i’m making this talkpage post. We add notes on various episodes, some of which could reasonably be seen as pointless, like “this accident was remade in another series” or even “this was the 100th episode”.
For this episode, i think its important that we note the fact Dave Cronin isn’t actually alive any more [he passed away in 2015], but this also highlights that this is a unique situation that hasn’t occurred before: in almost every other episode made thus far, if someone involved with the accident plane or the investigation is no longer alive to be interviewed, either someone else on either side is interviewed [ie the first officer, a fellow pilot from the airline, a surviving flight attendant or one of the non-lead investigators involved in the investigation], or a random investigator unconnected to the investigation is asked to provide commentary on what happened.
Instead, Mayday have chosen to use what they’ve repeatedly stated as being extremely low quality footage [and also content which Nat Geo technically don’t have rights for, hence the remakes of these old episode incidents to begin with] from the interview they did way back in 2003 for the original episode, but haven’t actually called out anywhere the fact that he isn’t alive any longer. Thus, if someone watches the episode and hasn’t seen S1E1, they would be forgiven for thinking Cronin is still alive, even though he’s not.
with that in mind, i feel that a note on this probably-one-off situation is relevant to the article, since where else should this be mentioned? Its not relevant to the accident, but its relevant to the episode that was broadcast, and this page is focused on details about the episodes created by Cineflix for the Mayday series. Thanks. — CitroenLover ( talk) 23:20, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
