Do we really need lists of notable alumni on this page? Seems like cruft.

The new article is created. Most of the frats are blank, please feel free to expand them: List of MIT fraternities. Nationalparks 17:59, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
The information on MIT housing has gotten a bit fragmented and not fully-connected. I have tried to clean this up a bit, and to link things in logical manner. I propose taking the current content of this article (which already covers more than just dorms) and moving it to Housing at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which currently is just a page of a few links and no other content. I then propose making this article a redirect to the Housing article. Thus, the Housing article will become the main article as implied by the title, covering topics spanning different housing setups, and pointing to subsidiary articles that already exist, and/or future articles on the subject. Does this sound reasonable? Reify-tech ( talk) 17:21, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
Rather than re-using the Simmons Hall photo here (it already appears next to the Simmons section of List of Massachusetts Institute of Technology undergraduate dormitories), perhaps an aerial photo of West Campus or the entire MIT Cambridge campus might be more appropriate? Any ideas (and photos)? Reify-tech ( talk) 17:46, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
