Should this be List of Lords Lieutenant of Ireland, because the category's at Category:Lords Lieutenant of Ireland? ugen 64 05:16, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Lord Lieutenants is the proper plural, I think. The page used to be at Lords Lieutenant, but I think that's wrong. It isn't like a Governor-General. The Lord Lieutenant was a Lieutenant, who received the honorific of Lord. Lord is the modifier, not Lieutenant. john k 06:11, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Makes sense, but that means the category is not right. Sigh... ugen 64 05:27, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Christopher Wandesford

At Christopher Wandesford, it says the he was Lord Deputy of Ireland in 1640 for less than a year, as he died in December of that year. I have no way of verifying that, but if it's correct, then he should be added to this list. - Rholton 05:33, 14 December 2005 (UTC) reply
