Why is the portion of I-68 in West Virginia highlighted in the map on this article? This is "List of Interstate Highways in Maryland", not "List of Interstate Highways in West Virginia".

I-68 is all in one article as it doesn't go far in West Virginia. The map here uses the same maps from other interstates around Maryland and no map of I-68 only in Maryland was ever created which is why I-68 is showing in West Virginia under a Maryland article. I hope this helps.

Yes, but it appears to have been formally removed from the Interstate Highway System east of I-695 in 2014 and that portion then got the unsigned designation of Maryland Route 570.
