Potential expansion

Hello, I wanted to ask, if this article is planned to be expanded beyond a list and into something closer to Tornadoes of 2022 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ikethecatto ( talkcontribs) 12:54, 12 June 2022 (UTC) reply

well, now that more people are being active here again - in my opinion this article would be much better (and more useful) if it were turned into an actual article on european tornadoes of 2022, rather than a list. What is the point of adding landspouts which caused no damage, existed for minutes at best, ect? I do not see why we should use the time on that. A full list can be found at ESSL, and I think it would be much more useful if this article were to describe the more severe events, which would allow them to be easier to learn about online, akin to a full list which is already availabe at ESSL. Thoughts? Ikethecatto ( talk) 03:36, 15 June 2022 (UTC) reply
It is a list to match the US lists of tornadoes, because even tornadoes with no damage are listed on those. Elijahandskip ( talk) 06:20, 15 June 2022 (UTC) reply
Yes, I am aware. My point is that this article would be much more useful if we transformed it into more of a Tornadoes of 2022 style page with the more severe storms, as a full list is easily available on the ESWD website. Ikethecatto ( talk) 09:45, 16 June 2022 (UTC) reply
Too much work, because changes to the format mean changing the other articles like List of European tornadoes in 2012 as well. Elijahandskip ( talk) 14:08, 16 June 2022 (UTC) reply
Well then i think starting a set of articles anew would be a good idea in that case Ikethecatto ( talk) 14:31, 16 June 2022 (UTC) reply
I will for sure help you with it! Elijahandskip ( talk) 14:46, 16 June 2022 (UTC) reply
Thanks! I'm starting work on it now. Glad you started this article, it's great to see more organisation be brought to documenting european severe weather. Ikethecatto ( talk) 15:14, 16 June 2022 (UTC) reply

Images

Should we add images of the tornadoes described? Would definetely make the list more interesting to read. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ikethecatto ( talkcontribs) 21:52, 13 June 2022 (UTC) reply

I like this idea. Though obtaining the images could be a pain, but I'm willing to go through it. Zupaz ( talk) 12:15, 10 June 2023 (UTC) reply
