Fastifex, you are right in pointing out that non-Latin rite dioceses have been grouped into Latin rite dioceses, and this is technically incorrect. However, there exists no concept of "mixed rite provinces"; it is just that in such cases, for the sake of grouping, the Syro-Malabar or Syro-Malankara have been grouped under the province of the archdiocese that it is suffragan to. E.g. the diocese of Kalyan is suffragan to the archdiocese of Bombay, but technically, it is not possible for it to be a part of the province of Bombay, but it has still been grouped together with other dioceses that are suffragan to Bombay.
