Taarten, my point is not that Kamagurka is not a contemporary painter, but that he is not notable as such. I have looked at his work on his web site, and frankly, I wouldn't place him on the same level as Raveel, Tuymans or De Keyser.

List of Flemish painters
As 14th-16th century painters from the region are usually called Flemish, I intend to split this page with
List of Flemish painters. I will cross-link of course. No offense intended to lovers of Belgium, but I think it is more logical. A quick glance at the list shows that
Navez, although born in the
Austrian time, will be the first one in the Belgian list. Before him, there's a gap which makes the division easy. I also intend to work on
Flemish painting.
