"She is a non-blood related relative of Australian actor Tim Campbell in that her mother's brother (uncle) was arried to Tim's paternal grandmother's younger sister (great aunt)." Her uncle being married to some else's great aunt seems a bit trivial to include... Anyone disagree? MurfleMan ( talk) 01:50, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
I became curious when I watched a certain episode of IWakeUpWithTODAY with her featured. Is there anyone who can tell me what her beliefs (or if she is a non-believer) are? The only clues to suggesting me of her (non-)belief is that her husband is atheist. — AWESOME meeos ! * ( [ˈjæb.ə ət məɪ])) 10:00, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
It looks like her birth date has been added and reverted at least four times in the last year or so. One of those cited Daily Mail reverted as not a reliable source. Google yields the same date with a range of second-rate sources. Wikidata has it in Lisa Wilkinson (Q12072926) referenced to English Wikipedia and IMDB (retrieved in 2016 and still shows the same date). While none of the sources are particularly good, they seem to all agree on 19 December 1959. Surely we can find a suitable reference to put it in this article and keep it? @ NinjaRobotPirate, Kuru, and Michael Bednarek: -- Scott Davis Talk 13:31, 18 September 2021 (UTC)
I understand and appreciate the role that Lisa Wilkinson played here. Her speech at the Logies made international news and it deservedly belongs to be on her page, but the pile-on since is undignified. Not everything to do with the trial has to do with her. The fact that the trial was abandoned has nothing to do with her. If people have an axe to grind against her and don't like her, that's fine - they are still welcome to edit the page and add whatever controversy she finds herself in, they should just edit the page a bit more judiciously. Dolphinize I see what you just added to the page - In 2023, Bruce Lehrmann launched a defamation suit against Wilkinson, Samantha Maiden, Network 10, and News Corp. Wilkinson and others made comments about Lehrmann during the trial where he was accused of raping Brittany Higgins. Lehrmann was found not guilty in the criminal trial
This isn't true. There was no trial as it was abandonded due to jury misconduct thus he wasn't found guilty or innocent. One has to be extremely careful when adding content vis a vis legal matters especially when they're happening. People who see the news about this suit and are going to come to Wikipedia and read up about it. Reading that he was not guilty will influence what they think. Please change this to reflect what actually happened and moving forward, please exercise more discretion. MaskedSinger ( talk) 06:20, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
Any content added about Higgins/Lehrmann should be added as per Wiki Guidelines which isn't happening. This is a complex issue muddled further by a lot of fake news. Whatever you think of all involved here, especially Lisa Wilkinson if you add stuff to her page, leave that out of it and make sure that whatever is added is balanced.
