I added an edit about Lions Bay considering leaving the GVRD and becoming part of the Squamish Regional District. I feel this is an important descision for this community and could have a notable impact on it's residents, and infrastrcutre projects. Anyways my edit was reverted, therefore instead of engaging in a revert war I ask whomever has an objection to this being added speak up or forever hold your peace.
It is definitely relevant to the article. However, your mention of it was the first I've ever heard of the idea, and I follow North Shore (and neighbouring muincipalities) issues fairly closely. If you've got a citation for it (council minutes etc.) please list it so that the information meets with Wikipedia requirements for verifiability. -- Ckatz chat spy 19:18, 2 October "2006 (UTC)"rv. text re: leaving GVRD (interesting, first I've heard of it, please list verifiable source for this and it can be restored)"

I had put this in Notable people....I know he lives near Lions Bay, maybe not in the village itself? I know he lives around there, I got to party on his yacht long ago. Word is he's still around there...but maybe outside municipal limits? Skookum1 ( talk) 17:17, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
